Privacy Policy

Shindiggity ("we", "us") is an event platform operated by Shindiggity Inc. This policy describes what information we collect when you host or attend an event powered by Shindiggity, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what the party needs — and nothing we collect is ever sold.

Information hosts provide

When an organizer creates an event we collect the event details they enter: event name, date, venue and address, contact email and phone number, uploaded photos, schedules, seating plans, and settings for the features they enable. Payment details for paid features are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.

Information guests provide

Guests joining an event may share their name, song requests, photos and videos they choose to upload, RSVP responses, game answers, messages such as toasts, and — for remote guests — the location they choose to share (like a home city). This content is visible within that event to its host and guests, consistent with the event's settings, and is used only to run the event's features.

Photos, videos, and the photo booth

Photos and videos captured at an event (including through the photo booth and venue camera features) are stored so the host and guests of that event can view and download them. The photo booth's face filters process camera images on the device in real time to position effects; Shindiggity does not use facial recognition to identify people and does not retain face-tracking data — only the final photos a guest chooses to keep are saved.

Third-party services

Some features rely on partners, and their handling of data is governed by their own policies: music playback connects to the host's own Spotify or Apple Music account under their terms; payments are processed by Stripe; AI voice features may use ElevenLabs to generate audio from text a host writes; Snapchat-style camera lenses are powered by Snap Inc.'s Camera Kit, which processes camera frames to render effects under Snap's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We share with these services only what each feature requires to function.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information. We do not use event content for advertising. We do not show ads. Event content belongs to the people who made it.

Retention and deletion

Event content is retained while the event is active and for the access window the host configures (for example, post-event photo and video access). Hosts can delete their event, which removes its content from our systems. To request deletion of specific content or your personal information, contact us at the email below.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. Feature PINs limit venue consoles (bar, photo booth, video wall) to the people the host authorizes.

Children

Shindiggity is designed for event organizers who are adults. Guest features are intended for use under the supervision of the event's host. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own purposes.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy we will update this page and revise the date above.
